The Center for Field Science secured a new School or Record (SoR) – Culver Stockton College. C-SC is a small, Liberal Arts school in Missouri, established in 1853. C-SC was the first academic institution west of the Mississippi River chartered specifically for men and women. Quite a proud heritage!
All Center for Field Sciences students will get a letter grade and transcripts at the end of their field school participation from C-SC. Center for Field Sciences students will be awarded 8 semester credit units at the 400’s level – Upper Division. This is the same level and number of credit units awarded to students under our prior SoR – Iowa Wesleyan University.

The past few weeks have been a challenge. We are relieved that we can uphold our promise to students. While the closure of IWU was a surprise and out of our control, we hope that our actions – transparency, putting student interests first, rapid action and success in securing a new SoR – serve as a testimony to our deep commitment to excellence.
